The Peterman Dual Piezo contact pickup is different to other pickups on the market, because it used multiple technologies to produce its sound. Not simply a piezo that attaches to your instrument and relies on the vibration to make the sound. Our pickups are made from timber rather than plastic, and the Bass pickup is made from a die cast metal, so that together they are promoting different tones and colours, by being made from timber the mid-treble pickup sounds light clean and with lots of air and natural tones, while the heavy metal bass pickup focuses on the low frequencies, and together they sound much like a large diaphragm studio microphone without the cost and inconvenience.
