2011, Made in USA. Building off of one of Martin's most iconic dreadnought guitars, the D-28, the Martin HD-28V puts a twist on a classic. Herringbone purfling with a zig-zag back stripe, as well as the more vintage-leaning style as indicated by the V in its name, set the HD-28V apart from both the D-28 and the HD-28. And the HD-28V comes in a classic combination for dreadnoughts: rosewood for the back and sides with spruce for the top. Bone nut and saddle, original frets and snowplake inlays in an ebony board. *This one has had the binding reglued and damaged finish areas retouched with nitro.
