Made by Brisbane based builder Tim Timbo Hickey, based on a Supro S6420 Thunderbolt. Features a 1960s Chicago Jensen Alnico 15 inch speaker, NOS 60s 6L6G tubes and rectifier (phillips mini watt). Switchable valve/solid state rectification. 2 channels, including a third blendable input.

True to the original schematic from 1964, the circuit provides approximately 9 watts to each of the output tubes, thus giving the feel and output of an 18 watt amp, although it’s rated at 36 watts.

At 14 inches wide, the Britain 3.0 is an all tube, Switchable 50 W hand wired guitar amplifier. The Britain 3.0 expands upon the Britain 2.0, featuring two separate channels that can be blended together to create different tones.

Even more versatile than the Britain 2.0, the Britain 3.0 offers switchable 12W Class A, 25 Class A and 50W Class A/B operation which allows the guitarist to adjust the power and feel of the amplifier to suit many musical settings.
