1974 - Made in the USA. Cresting wave body, famously played by Fred ‘Sonic’ Smith from MC5 and Sonic’s Rendezvous Band. Full 24 3/4’’ scale length on a small body. This one has seen some modifications but has the original frets, original ‘High Gain’ neck pickup, bridge and truss rod cover. Small amount of damage to the original routes where the bridge pickup has been replaced with Seymour Duncan Humbucker (Someone has crudely removed some wood for the legs and screws of the humbucker.) Pots and switch have been replaced. Original guard has been altered to accommodate the humbucker and two extra holes drilled in the guard for mini toggle switches that are no longer installed. Missing 3 original pickguard screws, some of the holes are oversized from wear as well. Non-Original Schaller tuners. /w Case
