Timbo - Thunderbolt Clone

Made by Brisbane based builder Tim Timbo Hickey, based on a Supro S6420 Thunderbolt. Features a 1960s Chicago Jensen Alnico 15 inch speaker, NOS 60s 6L6G tubes and rectifier (phillips mini watt). Switchable valve/solid state rectification. 2 channels, including a third blendable input.

True to the original schematic from 1964, the circuit provides approximately 9 watts to each of the output tubes, thus giving the feel and output of an 18 watt amp, although it’s rated at 36 watts.
